The most important technology invention to benefit society as a whole would have to be the invention of the wheel, the root of the industrial revolution. The common wheel started the ease of transportation, which greatly impacted the world as we know it. The wheel has also influenced construction as a whole and increased the pace. Another way the wheel has greatly impacted any society would be the use of gears, turning society mechanical. Transportation became much easier and much more effective after the invention in many ways. Construction of anything with the use of the wheel began to speed up and different ideas also came out of this. As the wheel invention trickled down, gears were used in many new inventions causing society to go through a mechanical revolution. Starting with the invention of the wheel, inventions afterward had spiraled from it and had advanced to benefit society and make life easier.
Transportation became easier after the wheel due to the action of rolling. The box piece on top came afterwards transforming the rolling cylinder into a cart, or wagon. This transformation caused a great effect; it was then much easier to transport many goods at one time, causing another great cause and effect, profitable benefits. From hand carrying food, water and trading, energy and time is wasted. While society started to use this invention to their benefit, many gained more time from using this cart to ‘wheel” their crops wherever needed. Workdays would become much more productive allowing one person to carry very heavy objects to and from they need it. The wheel inspired many people in the society as well, figuring ways to benefit themselves.
As the inventions progressed in societies, gears became a popular part. Societies soon became mechanical. Production was fast passed and greatly helped the people who used them. Trade would increase and profits would rise as well. Inventing the turntable-wheels with spokes coming out the sides and using them for water pumps greatly increase the transfer of water. Later this would cause the printing press to spread daily news and change society as well. Gears inspired many other inventions causing this to make societies easier to live day-to-day lives. The invention of the wheel would effect society in many ways as whole.
Construction of homes and other common hardships needed for survival were effected with these inventions and soon became much easier to deal with. Homes were built much more stability with better designs. The Cart like invention will easily move your wood and other supplies. Your mechanical gears will screw you nails in to the wood and allow you to have a sturdy foundation. The overall effects of wheels have on construction increased to large pieces of machinery being used to create huge buildings. Machinery started building more productive machinery benefiting society even more.
The trickle down effect the wheel has had on societies everywhere was massive. It allowed people everywhere to make life easier with faster more effective tools and resources. As people benefited everywhere they kept in mind that in many daily tolls they use , it had come from the wheel. Still today many people will argue the wheel was the most important/benefiting invention ever created.
